Welcome to Loan Simple
By now you should have completed the training webinar and received your logins and passwords. The training webinar is designed to give you an overview of the process from A-Z. However, it's not easy to retain that much information, so feel free to ask as many questions as you need to along the way. Typically, after you complete a couple loans from start to finish you will see that the process is very simple.
The following steps cover the basics you will need to get up and running with Loan Simple.
Step 1: Setup your Loan Simple Email - Now that you are ready to originate loans with Loan Simple all your email communication needs to take place using a Loan Simple email. Our email is provided through Gmail, so it's very easy to use. Gmail offers lots of helpful tutorials on setting up Gmail in Outlook or on your smart phone, as well as setting up an email signature. Login to Gmail and use the search feature to find the help you need.
Step 2: Calyx Point - An email containing the Calyx download will be sent to your Loan Simple email from firstname.lastname@example.org. Click on the blue link that reads "Install Point" to begin the download. Use the login and password we provided to login to Point.
Step 3: Setup DU and LP - Visit the Loan Forms page on the Loan Simple website and scroll down to the documents called DO Sign Up & LP Sign Up. Follow the instructions to setup access to DU & LP. You will use DU the majority of the time but LP will be required for loans that are locked with Freddie Mac.
Step 4: FHA and VA Logins - Visit the Loan Forms page on the Loan Simple website and open the document called FHA & VA Login Request. Complete the form and return it to the email listed on the request form.
